IDR is seeking a Technical Support Specialist to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Forsyth, Georgia. This role involves providing technical support, assisting with hardware, software, and network issues primarily for administrative and executive staff. The position offers a chance to work in a fast-paced, high-security environment where your technical expertise directly impacts operations.
Position Overview for the Technical Support Specialist:
- Provide hands-on technical support to users across multiple departments.
- Troubleshoot hardware issues such as printers, monitors, and network connectivity.
- Assist with setting up network printers, connecting devices to the network, and resolving system errors.
- Support Windows 11 and Mac system issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
- Collaborate with team members to resolve complex technical challenges and improve overall user support services.
Requirements for the Technical Support Specialist:
- 3+ years of in-person, hands-on support experience with hardware and software.
- Strong troubleshooting skills for Windows 11 and hardware issues like monitors and printers.
- Experience supporting MacBooks and related Apple devices.
- Ability to work independently and autonomously with minimal guidance.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
