Position Overview for the Supply Chain System Application Support Specialist III:
- Provide steady-state support for existing supply chain applications, ensuring system stability and security.
- Lead system integrations, testing, and implementation of upgrades and enhancements.
- Develop user documentation, deliver training, and support departmental staff in system-related issues.
- Manage and optimize procurement system databases, generating actionable reports for decision-making.
- Analyze supply chain processes to identify automation opportunities and recommend process improvements.
Requirements for the Supply Chain System Application Support Specialist III:
- 5+ years of experience in supply chain systems or related fields.
- Experience with PeopleSoft MMIS and GHX platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and summarize data from diverse sources.
- In-depth knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning systems, preferably PeopleSoft.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate and mediate.
