IDR is seeking a SharePoint Intranet Designer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Houston, Texas. This role involves supporting the redesign and modernization of internal business websites within a corporate environment focused on improving employee access and engagement. The organization is a leader in its industry, emphasizing internal communications and user experience.
Position Overview for the SharePoint Intranet Designer:
- Support the redesign and modernization of existing SharePoint Online sites to enhance usability and accessibility.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including IT and communications teams, to translate business needs into effective site designs.
- Assess current intranet sites to identify improvement opportunities and implement scalable solutions.
- Configure SharePoint pages, web parts, templates, and branding to meet modern intranet standards.
- Support content cleanup and migration activities to ensure streamlined information architecture.
Requirements for the SharePoint Intranet Designer:
- 3+ years of experience in SharePoint Online and modern intranet design.
- Strong background in internal/intranet site design and UX.
- Ability to work independently and manage deliverables in a contractor role.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem is a nice to have.
- Experience supporting internal communications or corporate intranets.
