IDR is seeking a Salesforce Developer to join one of our top clients for an onsite opportunity in Lansing, MI - open to relocation! This role involves supporting a government project within the Salesforce platform, focusing on custom development and integration. The position offers the chance to work within a specialized, niche environment with a high level of technical responsibility.
Position Overview for the Salesforce Developer:
- Design, develop, test, and deploy custom Salesforce solutions utilizing Salesforce development best practices.
- Develop and maintain Apex code including triggers, batch jobs, queueable jobs, and scheduled processes.
- Build and enhance Lightning Web Components (LWC) to support modern user experiences.
- Design and implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, Named Credentials, and related technologies.
- Manage source control, deployments, and release processes using Salesforce DX (SFDX), VS Code, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
Requirements for the Salesforce Developer:
- 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience (in the US)
- Must have recent hands-on Salesforce Platform Development experience where the majority of development is within Salesforce (Apex, LWC, Flows, SOQL/SOSL, Platform Events, etc.)
- Prior experience supporting a State/Government project highly preferred
- Strong expertise with:
- Apex Development (Triggers, Batch Apex, Queueable Apex, Scheduled Apex)
- Lightning Web Components (LWC)
- SOQL/SOSL
- Salesforce DX (SFDX)
- REST and SOAP API integrations
- Platform Events
- Named Credentials
- Salesforce Security Model (Profiles, Permission Sets, Sharing Rules, OWD)
- Salesforce Flows and Process Automation
- Git-based source control and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong understanding of Salesforce governor limits and platform architecture.
