The Select Group is seeking a Project Manager to support Customer Operations in the Service Activation Integration initiative within one of our top telecommunication clients. This person will lead medium-to-complex programs across cross-functional teams, contributing to the successful delivery of customer-focused projects.
This person will join a team that leads initiatives from a PMO perspective across business units. Projects are complex and require strong alignment across multiple teams, providing exposure to enterprise-level strategic programs. This is a high-visibility role within the organization, offering direct interaction with senior leadership and the opportunity to shape the customer experience.
Key Responsibilities:Stakeholder Alignment (70%): Facilitate alignment and coordinate meetings with stakeholders across different teams to ensure project goals are achieved.
Project Planning & Reporting (10%): Regularly update project plans and provide status reports to key stakeholders.
Leadership Escalations & Risk Mitigation (10%): Contribute to leadership escalations and help mitigate potential risks.
Impact Review (10%): Assess project artifacts for potential impact on agents/customers to ensure successful outcomes.
Additional Responsibilities:
Manage the full project lifecycle from definition to implementation.
Drive project milestones, managing scope, cost, schedule, and quality.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans.
Provide daily guidance to project resources.
Create and implement effective communication plans to ensure alignment.
Oversee change management efforts throughout the project lifecycle.
Prepare and track documentation, status reports, and budget updates.
5+ years of Project Management experience.
Strong verbal and written communication skills, proficient in PowerPoint, email, and project documentation.
Proficiency in MS Project, Visio, Excel, and Word.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with strong leadership, negotiation, judgment, decision-making, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment.
PMP certification preferred.
A portfolio of completed projects or programs.
Familiarity with telecommunications and customer experience improvement initiatives.
Experience with multi-dwelling unit (MDU) technology environments.
