IDR is seeking a Network Administrator to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Atlanta, Georgia. The position involves hands-on administration of VM infrastructure, backups, and network components.
Position Overview for the Network Administrator:
- Administer and support virtual machine infrastructure, including Nutanix environment and Rubrik backups
- Support Office 365 administration, including email and user management
- Configure, troubleshoot, and maintain network hardware such as firewalls, switches, and related components
- Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to resolve technical issues and support security systems
- Assist with audio/video systems and security cameras as needed in a law enforcement environment
Requirements for the Network Administrator:
- Strong knowledge of virtual machine infrastructure, specifically Nutanix
- Experience with Rubrik infrastructure for server and file backups
- Solid Microsoft Office 365 administration experience
- Understanding of core networking fundamentals: what a network is, what an IP address is and its purpose, what DNS does, and basic network infrastructure including firewalls and switches
