Job Overview
Our client is seeking a hands-on Lab Tester to support the development and quality validation of mechanical pool equipment. This role will be fully onsite and focused on setting up test stands, executing physical tests, and collaborating with engineers to ensure accurate performance and quality results for products such as pumps, heaters, and filtration systems. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a lab environment testing industrial or mechanical equipment and a strong interest in contributing to product improvement efforts.
Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate test stands and fixtures to run performance and durability tests on mechanical pool equipment (heaters, pumps, filters, etc.).

Conduct physical testing on mechanical and electro-mechanical components in accordance with laboratory test plans and procedures.

Collect, document, and report test data, observations, and results to engineering teams.

Troubleshoot equipment or test set-up issues as needed and assist in implementing corrective actions.

Work closely with test engineers and product development teams to review results and provide feedback.

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized lab environment, following all safety protocols.
Must-Have Qualifications

Hands-on experience testing mechanical/industrial equipment in a laboratory or testing environment.

Prior exposure to testing equipment such as pumps, heaters, filters, or similar industrial/mechanical products.

Ability and willingness to work onsite in the lab 5 days per week.

Comfortable working directly with and around physical equipment and tools.
