IDR is seeking a IT Security Engineer to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Arlington, TX. This role is focused on supporting cybersecurity initiatives across both traditional IT and operational technology environments, including critical infrastructure systems such as ICS and SCADA. The organization specializes in infrastructure and industrial systems, working to enhance security measures in a complex operational setting.
Position Overview for the IT Security Engineer:
- Support cybersecurity initiatives across both traditional IT and OT environments, including ICS and SCADA systems.
- Contribute to threat monitoring, vulnerability assessments, and the development of security playbooks.
- Work in a hybrid environment with onsite presence at the water treatment plant.
- Collaborate with teams to implement security solutions and monitor for vulnerabilities.
- Leverage experience with OT monitoring solutions and cybersecurity tools to enhance infrastructure security.
Requirements for the IT Security Engineer:
- 2+ years in cybersecurity roles focused on critical infrastructure.
- 1+ years of experience with ICS/SCADA or other OT environments.
- Experience with OT monitoring solutions, specifically with Claroty or Armis.
- Experience with SIEM tools such as Elastic Stack & Splunk.
- Basic scripting knowledge in Python and/or PowerShell.
