Job Summary: Entry-Level IT Help Desk Technician I who will provide day-to-day technical support to employees, assist with IT equipment setup, and help ensure company systems and devices run smoothly. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting problems, helping others, and gaining hands-on IT experience.
Required Qualifications:
- Approximately 1 year of experience in an IT help desk or technical support role.
- Experience working in a Microsoft 365 environment.
- Familiarity with Windows Enterprise systems.
- Experience using **Active Directory for user account management.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple support requests in a fast-paced environment.
U.S. Citizenship is required
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to employees experiencing IT-related issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and login problems.
- Provision and configure IT equipment for new hires.
- Support employees with device setup, access, and system issues.
- Install, configure, and update software on company devices.
- Assist with basic network maintenance and connectivity troubleshooting.
- Answer support requests through phone, email, and chat.
- Manage and prioritize help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution.
- Run diagnostics and resolve basic technical problems.
- Set up and maintain computer hardware, software, and network connections.
- Document support calls, issue resolutions, and troubleshooting steps.
- Run standard or specialized IT reports as requested.
- Write or update training guides, knowledge base articles, and help desk documentation.
- Follow up with employees to ensure issues are fully resolved.
- Escalate complex technical issues to higher-level IT support teams when necessary.
Work Environment & Schedule: 8:00am to 4:30pm CST. On site required at the San Antonio, Texas corporate office.
Compensation & Benefits: $21.50 to $24.00 per hours
