Position Overview/Responsibilities for the GCP Cloud Engineer:Implement cloud infrastructure based on designs from the Cloud Architect and standards set by the Cloud Operations team
Deploy application hosting environments using repeatable templates, tools, and processes
Provision and configure GCP environments in alignment with project objectives
Lead cloud-related infrastructure tasks and serve as the primary point of contact for project teams
Establish automation, configuration, and monitoring tools to streamline cloud service consumption
Support DevOps practices, including Continuous Integration and Delivery (CI/CD) pipelines
Script and automate infrastructure using Python, Bash, and PowerShell
Ensure secure, efficient, and scalable deployment of cloud services
Minimum of 5 years infrastructure development experience, focused on GCP cloud platform
Deep knowledge of core GCP services: compute, storage, networking, security, and automation
5+ years of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) experience using Terraform or similar tools
Strong experience with containerized environments, disaster recovery, and large-scale enterprise infrastructure deployments
Proficiency in scripting languages: Python, Bash, PowerShell
Experience with CI/CD and automation in a DevOps environment
Google Cloud Foundational Certification is required
Professional Cloud Architect Certification (GCP)
Hands-on experience with Terraform and Azure DevOps
Experience with hybrid cloud strategies or multi-cloud infrastructure

Compensation Details: $55-58/hr W2 (based on experience)
