IDR is seeking a Data Engineer (DataBricks) to join one of our top clients for an opportunity in Denver, Colorado. This role involves working within a highly technical environment to build scalable data pipelines supporting strategic forecasting initiatives in the energy and utility sectors. The company is a leader in innovative data solutions within the infrastructure industry.
Position Overview for the Data Engineer (DataBricks):
- Build and maintain ETL pipelines and workflows within Databricks.
- Support development of a granular load forecasting platform at the feeder/circuit level.
- Integrate data inputs from multiple internal teams and systems.
- Ensure reliable data ingestion, transformation, and flow into the forecasting platform.
- Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, IT teams, and business stakeholders.
Requirements for the Data Engineer (DataBricks):
- 7-10+ years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with Databricks (core requirement).
- Advanced proficiency in Python and PySpark within Databricks.
- Strong experience building and maintaining ETL pipelines and workflows.
- Experience with Databricks features such as job orchestration, asset bundles, and production deployments.
