Position Overview for the CAPPS Payroll Analyst:
- Provide highly advanced senior-level consultative services and functional assistance to support the CAPPS Program.
- Serve as functional subject matter expert for the CAPPS HR/PY Payroll module within PeopleSoft 9.2 Payroll, delivering day-to-day support and resolving payroll issues.
- Own and maintain payroll configurations and support the full payroll cycle, including pay calendars, paysheets, payroll calculation, confirmation, and post-confirmation auditing.
- Collaborate across Time & Labor and Human Resources teams to ensure end-to-end process accuracy and support audits and executive reporting.
Requirements for the CAPPS Payroll Analyst:
- Extensive knowledge and understanding of State of Texas applicable policies.
- Extensive knowledge of federal labor laws.
- Extensive knowledge and experience performing system configuration changes.
- Extensive technical skillsets needed with App Designer, Integration Broker, assorted SQR/SQL, BI Publisher, SAP Business Objects, etc. to support functional responsibilities.
- Extensive knowledge of security best practices, NIST standards, and multi-tenancy applicability for a statewide ERP instance.
