IDR is seeking a Associate Proposal Writer to join one of our top clients for a hybrid opportunity. This role involves developing business proposals within the energy and utility industry, supporting various sales and marketing initiatives with a focus on technical writing and persuasive content.
Position Overview for the Associate Proposal Writer:
- Develop, compile, and edit proposal responses to RFIs, ITBs, RFQs, RFPs, and other solicitation documents.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Sales, Technical Sales, Operations, and Legal to gather and validate content.
- Manage proposal content library, ensuring materials are current, accurate, and aligned with company messaging.
- Produce graphics and visuals that adhere to brand standards to enhance proposal presentation.
- Ensure all proposal responses meet client instructions, quality standards, and deadlines.
Requirements for the Associate Proposal Writer:
- Undergraduate degree in English, Journalism, or Communication.
- 4+ years of professional writing experience.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple priorities under pressure.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and proposal management software like Response or Loopio.
- Experience using AI writing tools with good judgment in refining content.
